I had a rather uncomfortable night as I began having bladder infection symptoms last evening. I was forcing fluids during the night hoping the frequency and urgency would go away, but alas, they did not. I googled urgent care facilities in Pampa, TX and was not happy with the dearth of possibilities. So about 4 AM, I called the local hospital which had not advertised an urgent care center. The receptionist was most helpful telling me their urgent care center opened at 8 AM. The nearest ones I'd found reference to were in Amarillo, an hour's drive away. So I presented myself to the Nurse Practitioner at 8 AM, and by 9:45, we were driving away from the CVS pharmacy with my antibiotic and antispasmodic.
While I was outside at 4 AM on the phone to the hospital (so as not to disturb peacefully-sleeping David), I did look for meteors and saw 3 in about a 5-minute period!!
So on the road again at 10 AM heading across New Mexico to Albuquerque. We arrived at Kirtland AFB's Family Camp about 4 PM in time to do a bit of grocery shopping and also go out to Olive Garden for dinner. By evening, I was having less bladder spasms and after not sleeping at all Wednesday night, I slept most soundly tonight!!
No photos today as we were both doing very hard driving at times taking advantage of the 75mph speed limit. Poor RBII needs slower speeds tomorrow!!
